Moving information between systems, preparing content for publication, organising a team: I build focused tools around the job, with clear rules, checks and a handover whenever a person needs to decide.
My apps are used daily in classrooms across Berkley Normal Middle School and by Berkley TV for filming and media production. My StopMotion animation studio, developed from an open-source foundation, is in student use. My ClassroomScreen dashboard has been used by me and other teachers for a year, as of September 2026. I also bring years of managing people and budgets and helping teams adopt new tools.
Turns absence emails into checked eTap entries overnight, with a morning handover for staff. The attendance officer reports it saves over an hour a day, closer to two.

I use AI to build software faster. Some of my products also use it while they run: Just the Good News selects and summarises stories with AI, and Prompter’s voice following connects to a speech-recognition service.
I start with the task, the information involved and the result you need. Then I use AI only where it earns its place.

I start with one workflow, the people who use it and a clear measure of success. You get something working to test before you commit to a wider rollout.
Then we settle the practical questions: data access, service costs, failure handling, testing and who maintains it. My public apps show what I can build; your deployment gets its own agreed requirements and checks.

At Capital E SoundHouseNZ/MediaLab I managed staff and budgets and ran programmes for more than 5,000 students a year from around the world. Game design, animation, music production and movie-making all sold out.
At SJI International I ran ESTV and project-managed its studio. The school’s YouTube channel grew eightfold, from 200 to 1,600 subscribers, during my 2016–2022 tenure. Today I lead Berkley TV and build my own software.
