A news site that publishes itself twice a day.
I built a live news site that runs on its own. Twice a day it gathers stories from RSS feeds, uses AI to pick and summarise the good news and publishes a fresh site, with links back to the original reporting.

Make good news easy to find.
Positive reporting is out there, scattered across separate feeds. Just the Good News pulls it into one readable site and keeps the original sources a click away.
Readers can browse by topic, search or use the Kids section. The site states up front that its content is AI-curated and AI-summarised.

Four steps. Nobody pressing publish.
I built the site and the pipeline behind it: gather stories from RSS feeds, use AI to select and summarise them, then build and publish the site.
A Python pipeline feeds a Hugo site, and GitHub Actions publishes it to GitHub Pages on a twice-daily schedule.
Keep the source one click away.
Links to the original reporting let readers go deeper than a summary. Topic browsing and search make the collection easy to explore, and the AI disclosure explains how the content is prepared.
The site is static. The AI work happens when the site is built, so readers browse finished pages without waiting on an AI response.
Live site. Open source.
Visit the site to see the reading experience, then open the source code to see the pipeline that builds it.
AI summaries can be imperfect, so stories link to their source. Updates depend on the feeds and the scheduled runs.
Gather it, process it, publish it. On a schedule.
The same pattern works for a business: pull information from the sources you already have, process it with rules or AI and publish a report, digest or web page automatically.
For a business version, I build in the source permissions, review points, data controls and monitoring from the start. As a senior hire, I’d design and run these pipelines across your content and data. As a project, I’d deliver one that runs itself.
